It is a life long skill that can be instilled at a young age encouraging a healthy lifestyle, boosting confidence and developing independence. A big thank you for the Bkeability trainers for working with our children throughout the week.

A fantastic performance of 'Road to Respect'

Today the children and staff enjoyed a fantastic performance of 'Road to Respect' by Altru Drama which fit this years anti-bullying week theme of 'respect'. The story told of a young girl called Taylor who bullied two children in her class because they were different to her. The performance looked at the themes of cyber-bullying, verbal bullying and physical bullying. It really made the children think about their actions and how they might make others feel. A fantastic performance as usual which kick started our anti-bullying week perfectly!

Garrett Hall remembers...

We are proud to showcase our beautiful poppy installation as a tribute to all who lost their lives in World War One. Our tribute marks this years centenary. Each child at Garrett Hall painted a poppy (using the bottom of a plastic bottle) and each poppy is now hung on our display which cascades down the front of our school. We have also included tributes to some of the men that fought and died during the war who were from Tyldesley.

Lest we forget.
