We are still working extremely hard on basic English and Maths skills alongside our curriculum.

You can support us in this by ensuring children complete their set homework, spelling homework and read 3 times per week at home. If they are unsure of their times tables, we would also ask that they access Times Tables Rockstars at home weekly to practise.

Thank you for your continued support.

Autumn trips and events

John Muir Award

From 17th May onwards we will be working towards the John Muir Award for conservation. This will involve practical fieldwork in the school grounds and local area. It is really important that children always have a coat with them at school this term, as we will be completing these activities whatever the weather.

This year we will be working on Cleworth Hall Fields and Lancashire Mining Museum.

We are currently finalising the dates and will send a letter on ParentPay when these are confirmed.
